Coupon Verification	The platform will check that a specific coupon can be accepted (not previously been used, within start and end date, correct store etc.) and either verify or reject the code. This process takes place between the POS system/digital channel and the AIR platform.
Coupon Lock at Verify	Once a coupon is verified, it can be locked. This means that the coupon cannot be used again between the time it has been verified and is subsequently redeemed or until the point it is unlocked. This feature is a security measure which helps to insure that the coupon will only be redeemable once.
Code Redemption	Our simple POS-optimised API, POS Connect, allows promotions to be redeemed in real-time. Note: this is not required if Cloud-based Adjudication is in use. POS Connect does not perform any calculations or adjustments to the transaction value in this mode. The POS system retains ownership of applying any promotion business rules. POS Connect can return a promotion identifer that the POS system is able to lookup, apply any promotion rules and calculate an updated transaction value.
Wallet Based Redemption	Allows a POS system to request whether there are any active promotions available to the consumer in real-time by sending a consumer's identity (for example, an email address, or membership ID) to POS Connect. POS Connect does not perform any calculations or adjustments to the transaction value in this mode. The POS system retains ownership of applying any promotion business rules. POS Connect can return a promotion identifer that the POS system is able to lookup, apply any promotion rules and calculate an updated transaction value.
