Loyalty Ledger & Tiers

Loyalty Ledger

Item

Description

General

Set scheme name, description, client account type (which is applied to associated points accounts), start and end dates, reference and printer messages.

Pending Points

Provide the option to defer when customers can spend the points they have earned for the entire Scheme.

For example, a customer makes a purchase and there is a pending period of 28 days. Providing they do not return the purchase, those points will become Usable after 28 days.

Alternatively, you have the ability to define a threshold based on the Points earnt / Monetary spend in the Transaction. For example, if the Transaction earns more than 500 points (or) £/$150, they will go to Pending for the pre-determined amount of time. You can then Reject or Approve the Pending Points to manage customer expectations and balance against internal fraud/profitability needs. All transactions under these parameters move straight to Usable Points.

Pending Points can also be bypassed with an override key for VIPs or exceptional circumstances.

Points Expiry

The ability to set up points expiry rules for a scheme so that points automatically expire from an account when these rules are met.*

-From Issuance (i.e Usable Points will expire 90 days after earning them, this can be the absolute date or rounding to month/year end)

-Set Date (i.e all Points in the Scheme will expire on a set date such as 31st December)

-Activity (i.e if a customer does not engage with you within 30 days, all points will expire. Any wallet/tier transaction configured to apply as activity will reset the counter)

  • Exclusions apply.

Points Balance Top-up

The ability to “top-up” a balance that is debited into a negative number to ensure consumers never see a negative balance.

Manage Negative Balance

Configure whether a points account is able to run into a negative balance or not.

Loyalty Tiers

Item

Description

General

Create Tiers, linked to Schemes and Points Accounts to power customer loyalty programmes through transparency and continuous engagement. A Unit in AIR can hold multiple Schemes, each with their own Tier mechanism if needed.

Membership

A Tier Membership links a customers points account to their Tier progression. One or many points account can link to a single Tier Membership to create Households.

Transactions

Ability to view all account transactions that impact the tier balance, including; Credit, Debit, Adjustment, Balance Resets, Promotion, Demotion

Configuration

Ability to configure your Tier programme to be;

-Individual

-Household

Ability to define what transaction types impact Tier Points Balance movements

-Base Earn (if on, all Base Earn transaction types influence the Tier Points 1:1)

-Credits (if on, all Credit transaction types will update the Tier Points and you can set granular on/off controls per campaign)

Promotion Rule set

Define how a customer can progress through Tiers:

-Tier Points Balance (Customer needs to earn 500 Tier Points to promote, which can be linked to base earn, credits or individual campaigns in play, all at the control of the marketeer)

-Tier Spend Balance (Customer needs to spend $500 to promote, which is linked to basket spend - (minus) product exclusions.)

-Tier Transaction Balance (Customer needs to complete a ‘task’ to promote, such as buying a certain SKU. The marketeer can control this using the power of campaigns to influence the ‘Transaction Balance’)

-and/or logic for advanced rule sets

Tiers can also have no demotion or promotion link (to be standalone) for subscription, VIP, staff or ‘pay-to-win’ Tiers. Exclusions available to determine if Redemption Partners/ Products can contribute to increases in Tier Spend Balances.

Entitlements & Rewards

Set different Base Earn rate and Points Expiry per Tier.

Create rewards for customers for being in a Tier using Campaigns. Set a campaigns qualification to be one or many Tiers as an Open/Targeted Offer for real-time adjudication.

Ability to define the exact reward for a customer completing a campaign (specific Tier Points and Tier Transaction impact). For example, Buy 6 pack of Diet Coke and get 100 points in your Points Ledger (usable points) and 100 Tier Points. The two currencies are not coupled.

Upgrading

Real-time adjudication to move customers up to the next applicable tier, based on their engagement and the promotion rule set.

Downgrading

At the end of the review period, defined at the tier level, we will maintain the customers tier (if they engaged enough against the promotion rules set) or downgrade them to the relevant Tier for their engagement.

Refunds

Refunds reduce the relevant Tier Balance metric. A Tier Balance cannot go negative.

Customer Care

Ability to view Tier Memberships, including Balances and Rewards. Adjust balances, tier memberships levels and merge wallets
